Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development
Min Thoko Didiza is a South African politician who currently serves as the Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development. She was born on 2 August 1965 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Didiza was an active member of the African National Congress (ANC) during the anti-apartheid struggle and served as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa from 2004 to 2006. She has also served as the Minister of Public Works and the Minister of Agriculture and Land Affairs in previous administrations.
As the Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Didiza has focused on implementing policies and programs that promote food security, land reform, and rural development in South Africa. She has also been involved in efforts to support small-scale farmers and improve the sustainability of agriculture in the country.
